At last, an economical way to add cruiser comforts to a 90's road bike. I could only find these shifters on your website, way up in the NE but the shipping was reasonable and quick. A warning that there's no adjuster knob on the 2(which handles three eaisily) shifter could've saved me some searching on the floor or a parts diagram would do. Only took some quick adjusting and the indexing was perfect. Thank you for saving my touring bike from the scrap heap and me from drop tube shifters.

I put these shifters on my Trek 7200 hybrid after converting to drop bars. They've been on the bike for a while now, and work perfectly. This is an amazing prices for such good shifters.

Shimano SPD Cleat Sets Shimano SPD Cleat Sets

These don't work on European cycling shoes, they are SPD so make sure you're shoes are too before you buy. They only work with SPD shoes. Beware.

I purchased a road bike with clipless pedals but did not have the proper cleats for my bike shoes. I went to a local bike shop and found a set for $30. I was able to purchase the identical item on Amazon for about $17 including shipping. The description on Amazon was right on, the delivery on time. The cleats work perfectly. What more could you ask for? Needless to say, I am very satisfied and would recommend Amazon and this merchant to anyone. Thank you.

Why buy knockoffs when you can buy Shimano brand name cleats! Great price from a great seller - super fast delivery. AAA+++ Seller.

Make sure you're ordering exactly what you need. The company only gives you 30 days to make returns, but they require you to have a return customer number that you're supposed to email to get. (????)I emailed them and have yet to hear back from them. It's been over 30 days now.

I bought these cleats to replace the silver multi-release ones that came with my pedals. These cleats have been much better- they hold on tighter, and do not wobble like the multi ones did. They may be a little tougher to get out, but not enough so that I've noticed a big difference. They just feel much more secure, and they don't pop out when lifting on the pedals or bunny hopping, as the multi ones sometimes did. My suggestion would be to go for these if you're mountain biking and need solid stability with your cleats. If you're road biking, the multi ones might be nice because they seem to be a little more forgiving with releases, but they don't feel as secure when standing, etc.

If you've bent a cleat, lost a cleat, or ground them down to nubs that couldn't hold an empty shoe let alone your entire leg, you need a new set of Shimano SPD Cleats. Shimano actually recommends replacing cleats yearly to maintain consistent pedal release and retention...

Park Tool BBT-22 Shimano Sealed Cartridge Bottom Bracket Tool Park Tool BBT-22 Shimano Sealed Cartridge Bottom Bracket Tool

I needed this to uninstall an old crankset so I could put a new one in and it worked great. Good contact and gave good leverage to crack the old one out. Nice tool to have in the box just in case, even if I never have to use it again.

If you are changing your bottom bracket, you might consider buying this, but you also might consider saving your money and going to a bike shop. How often are you really going to need this tool? And do you have a wrench that will tell you the torque pressure so you know you have tightened it enough but not too much? I'm ambivalent about this item. I like to have the tools and be able to do my own repairs, but I don't know when I'll be using this one again. Also, I managed to break off one of the teeth the one time I used it. So be careful.

Made in America. Solid construction. A little expensive, but it won't be much cheaper to get it done at a cycle shop.

Park Tool is widely regarded as the best bicycle-specific tool maker. This bottom bracket tool, essentially the socket end of a 1/2" drive socket wrench, makes it easy to see why. It's splined to fit Shimano sealed cartridge bottom brackets, just like a very similar socket I have from another manufacturer. The crucial differences are two: fit and contour. The tool snaps very precisely on to the bottom bracket, making easier work of a removal job that can be difficult due to overtightening or seized threads. Just as importantly, the top of the socket is contoured so that if the drive handle is providing insufficient leverage to do the job, one can fit a box end or open end wrench over the hex-shaped top of the socket. This makes possible the "desperation method," in which the socket must actually be bolted to the spindle of the bottom bracket and then turned a little at a time (often with much swearing, cheater pipes, etc). In the "seriously desperate" version of the desperation method, the tool can be bolted to the bottom bracket spindle and then clamped into a vice, with the entire frame being turned as a lever to move the seized threads. The shape of this tool makes that clamping possible. If you have to do this, make sure to treat yourself to a beer or similar reward afterward. But with this tool, you can! If you're blessed not to need that method, this tool will work exactly as it should anyway, and for years to come.

No complaints; worked perfectly for tightening my bottom bracket on a Diamondback Wildwood (Shimano sealed cartridge bottom bracket).

Shimano STX/Alivio Rapidfire Plus 7-Speed Shifter Set Shimano STX/Alivio Rapidfire Plus 7-Speed Shifter Set

Bought the shifters to identically replace stock shifters on my 1994 Giant Nutra. The 7 speed shifter matched the original except the original had a sheet metal band and a dial gauge. The replacements have a solid aluminum band so had to remove everything off the handle bars to slide on new shifters. The black sheathes at the shifter were a little longer than the original and the cables had a little extra length. Had to thread the cable through the existing threaded nipple and plastic cap on the rear derailleur. Instructions looked real good but I didn't read them. I couldn't adjust the front derailleur and rear derailleur to work perfectly through all gears, but they really weren't working perfectly before the shifter change. I changed the shifters because the 7 speed was slipping and the 3 speed was falling apart. I adjusted the high and low gear adjustment screws on both front and back deraillers to try to gain back a gear or two but no go. Apparently the most common cause of derailleurs losing performance is crashing. They are delicate devices, extremely exposed to bending in a crash. Make sure to pay attention to the cable guides under the pedals and route the new cables the same way. I had three cable guides but only 2 were right. I originally entertained taking the shifters apart and trying to repair them but they didn't come apart easy. This was an inexpensive repair that made riding much easier.

Solid shifters for the price. I was fixing up a bike for my neighbor and he didn't want to spend too much. This was a good purchase. Hardest part of the upgrade was removing the grips. g

These shifters work great. I have not had any problems with them. The instructions are terrible, I had to look online to find installation directions from an external source.

The package included a whole set of cables and sheath that were pre-greased. Nice touch! The shifters went on easily and replaced all the old cables with the new ones. Had to do a little bit of adjustment -- refer to the instructions. It came with two sets of instructions one of the front and one for the rear sifter. My mtn bike is over 10yrs. old now, but with the new shifters and a little tune up, rides like new again.

I am a Shimano component person to begin with, so when I needed to replace the worn out non repairable shifters on my 21 speed 1990 GT Tallera I decided on these. These shifters came with new cables - nice surprise. If you are a novice working on bikes I highly recommend reading the instructions that came in the box. The instructions give clear directions on how to adjust the shifters to work with the older derailers. Also make sure you have good wire cutters to cut the ends of the wire. The only downfall is if you want to put them on a riser bar they will only go so far to where the bar bends. Otherwise I like the indicator feature letting you know what gear you are in so you don't have to look down at the gears to see which one you are in.
